Strikes me as a little much. On one hand, it will kill off certain bugs (woolly adelgid) at least partially. On the other hand….so much for some of the hydrangeas, roses, and clematis. And I am sure the fig is caput. Maybe not. Maybe it will pop up in the basement! I wouldn’t blame it.

Yes, it could be worse. Which is not to say it wasn’t really bad! And then not being able to complain, because winter has been so surprisingly mild until this deep freeze – gee wiz, what are Canadians like me to do when we can’t complain?
I’m still not sure how I made it through several years in upper Ontario! Or last year here, how quickly we can forget!
